I attended the auction last year and it was great fun. Found some treasures too. This year I am watching the historical quilt. My sister and I worked on it and Rose Flannigan, nationally known quilt artist did the final quilting. Come to the auction and hear the story of where the quilt blocks originated and how it arrived here in pieces waiting to be put together for this special event. Was outbid on African Safaris last year. Plan to try again. Have always wanted to go to Africa. The folks who attend these events to help DTNW are really nice and super-friendly. Mrs. Melanie is a Class Act!

I wonder how a large national chain compares to a local restaurant or a smaller, regional chain? I’ll have to try it and compare someday, as I am used to local restaurants.
