Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 1 pm to 4 pm Oslo Salon and Day Spa will have their open house for the public to learn about Formostar (an infrared body wrap that burns 1400 calories per treatment) and to discover that Sundays will be another day to get their salon and day spa needs. Oslo Salon and Day Spa is located at 1302 North ‘I’ Street Tacoma, WA 98403. According to Jennifer Holman, marketing director for Oslo Salon and Day Spa, Formostar stimulates weight loss and at the open house, attendees will be able to tour the salon and obtain a buy one-get-one free coupon for the Formostar treatment.
The open house is free to attend and no pre-reservation is required. There will be free door prizes, such as tickets to the Rainier baseball stadium and drawings from Kenra hair products. Everyone who attends will obtain a free goody bag with free samples of new products, the Formostar coupon, and candy. A hot dog lunch with chips, soda, and cake will also be available. Demonstration services will be available: a chair massage for $10, a paraffin hand dip for $10, a bang trim for $10, an eye brow wax for $10, and hair feathers for $10. Customers can receive a 15% discount on a future service if they book and pay for their appointment on June 9, 2012.
Jennifer commented about the event: “I think that this is going to be informative for customers to learn about the new Formostar. We’re opening up another weekend day so that we can be more available for our guests.” She is looking forward to introducing the public to Oslo, and giving them the ability to speak with the professionals that work there. Jennifer stated: “They get a tour of the salon and day spa and we educate them on how important it is to rejuvenate ourselves; it’s like putting oil in your car” (Jennifer compared taking care of one’s body as one would take care of their car). Jennifer feels the best thing about the event is being able to meet new guests.
Jennifer shared what many people may not know about the salon, “We’re very much into purity and we’re having as little impact on the environment as possible. We use hair products that are ammonia free. We’re all about the experience when guests are here. It definitely encourages you to use your senses, for example: sight and sound when you’re here. You leave feeling 100% relaxed and rejuvenated.”
When asked who she recommended attend the event, Jennifer replied, “Anybody who values relaxation and pampering.”

Wow! Losing 1400 calories at a spa getting a bodywrap? I’ve never heard such a treatment! That’s amazing! Sounds like a nice environmentally conscious spa, too! Thanks for sharing!

Carly I would agree that the Oslo spa is a very unique place. How incredible, how thoughtful a man can be to give his wife or girlfriend such a gift to show and prove to her that she’s loved, appreciated and cared for. And to give her a day of her own. To make her feel special. To pamper and spoil and make her feel / know that she’s special to him only. And make her feel as if she’s the only woman in the entire world that matters. I say WOW!
