5th annual Art and Wine Walk

Support the arts, and enjoy some great wines next Saturday, August 24, from 4 pm to 8 pm the Stadium Art and Wine Walk. Businesses will host artists and their work, wines from around the world, and delicious hors d’oeuvres. There are 31 participating businesses from the Stadium Historic District Business Association, as well as artists, craftsmen, and of course, wine. Live musicians will entertain the onlookers in the wine garden and throughout the event.

Sharon Benson, this year’s Chairman of the event, highlighted some of the fundraising at the event: ”We have a raffle every year to raise money for Mary Bridge. Tickets are $1 each and will be available in the Wine Garden or at the North Slope Coffee Shoppe at the Thriftway prior to the event.  All proceeds to go Mary Bridge.”

“I love this event because it draws people from our local neighborhoods and cities and even from other counties!  Anyone can come who enjoys pairing art & wine.  You must be 21 to do the wine walk part but anyone can visit the participating venues to view the artwork of the emerging local artists.”
