Mix and mingle with some of Seattle and Tacoma’s most influential fashion designers, stylists, and editors at the 1st annual Fashion Industry Night by London Couture. The event will take place Thursday, November 14, 7 pm, at London Couture, located at 746 Broadway Avenue in Tacoma.
There will be a red carpet entrance followed by reception, and a chance to be professionally styled in some of the world’s most luxurious designer labels from London Couture. Attendees will be able to enjoy a complimentary Butter London manicure and be photographed. At 9 pm Mode Magazine will release their November issue with a champagne toast. This night offers an opportunity to celebrate and build fashion in the area. Admission is free and the champagne toast is complementary. Free street parking is available for the event.
“We want provide a night for networking for fashion photographers to meet potential clients or local fashion designers to meet models and scouts and other great fashion connections to happen” explained Erica Cooley, fashion designer at London Couture.
Erica explained the “Red Carpet” process: “The Red Carpet is the arrival area for guests. Each guest will walk down what we call the “London Couture Pink Carpet,” where photographers will be taking photos, and into London Couture to check in. Check in is for each guest to receive their industry badge. The dress attire is fashion forward. We hope all our guests will come dress to impress because you never know who may show up.”
Some highlights of the evening are the Mode Magazine November issue release, presenting nail polish application in this winters hottest new colors by Butter London, and a live designer fashion show.
