Metal Detecting events in Pierce County Libraries

Join the Puyallup Valley Gem and Mineral Club as they share and demonstrate metal detecting techniques. Learn how to find your own hidden treasure! The Sumner Pierce County Library will have its first annual Metal Detecting event for adults on Wednesday, July 10, from 6 pm to 7:30 pm.

The Friends of the Sumner Library co-sponsor this free event with The Puyallup Valley Gem & Mineral Club. No registration required.

There are also opportunities for teens and children to enjoy metal detecting events as part of the children’s summer reading program. Some upcoming dates include:
Thursday, July 11, 2 pm at the University Place Pierce County Library
Monday, August 12, 1 pm at the DuPont Pierce County Library
Wednesday August 14, 1:30 pm at the Steilacoom Pierce County Library
