Angela Heath, marketing director at the South Hill Mall, explained details of this specific event, “We had the event in 2007 and 2008, however, this is the first year with the format of partnering with just five charities. I changed it up a bit to differentiate it from the Night of Giving that the SuperMall does. In partnering with these charities, they each received a $10,000 fundraising opportunity – we’re hoping they reach the final stretch of their goal with ticket sales at the door. We also raised the ticket price just a bit and gave ticket holders more of a reason to attend the event, enjoying shopping, entertainment, and door prizes.”
When asked what she thinks of the event, Angela replied, “We have all the ingredients for a spectacular event.” Angela feels the best thing about the event, “The charitable aspect. It was such a privilege/honor to be able to give them this kind of fundraising opportunity.”
Angela will be at the Purchase with a Purpose event, she recommends anyone to attend the event, and also recommends her family and friends to attend as well. Interested individuals can visit: www.southhillmall.com or call: 253 840-2828 for more information about the event.
