The Hottest Party in Town: Museum of Glass Red Hot Gala

The Hottest Party in Town:
Guests to Enjoy Lively Auctions, a Gourmet Dinner and an After Party with Dante Marioni
at the Museum of Glass Red Hot Gala on September 20, 2014

Tacoma, Wash. — On September 20, 2014, Museum of Glass will host its largest fundraiser of the year–the annual Red Hot Gala. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in silent and live auctions throughout the night, enjoy a gourmet dinner with internationally celebrated artists and watch fiery glassblowing and a live music performance as artist Dante Marioni and Portland-based band Rags & Ribbons take the party into the Hot Shop at the end of the evening.

Marioni is a Seattle-based artist and a longtime friend of Museum of Glass. Marioni has exhibited his art at the Museum, including his current Vessel Display, and has worked in the Hot Shop most recently hand-crafting the 2014 Red Hot goblets, which will be for sale during the evening.

Funds raised at Red Hot support the Museum’s array of exhibitions, the 30+ professional artists that work in the Hot Shop annually and the thousands of regional youth that take part in the Museum’s educational programming.
